FAQ & Help

Answers to the questions we hear most.

What's the difference between the free, Basic, and Elite plans?

Free accounts can follow up to 3 schools and get a weekly alert batch.

Basic ($9.99/mo) gets alerts from up to 25 schools and Elite ($19.99/mo) from up to 50, both same-day instead of a weekly batch, field-level "what changed" detail on updated camps, up to 3 additional alert recipients (e.g. both parents), calendar sync, and a recruiting fit panel comparing your stats to the schools closest to your recent camps.

Elite lifts that fit comparison to every pilot school, not just your closest few — useful once you're weighing a longer list of programs.

How does following a school and getting alerts work?

From your account page, toggle any school you want to follow. You'll be alerted when a new camp is posted for that school, and again if an existing camp's date, location, or details change — not just when something new appears.

How do I build a player profile and generate an Athlete Resume?

Fill in your bio, academics, and measurables from your player profile page — free for every signed-up user. Paid subscribers can then generate and download a branded, single-page Athlete Resume built from that same profile data.

How do I manage or cancel my billing?

From your account page, use the "Manage billing" button to open Stripe's billing portal, where you can update your payment method, view past invoices, or cancel.

Is my profile data ever public?

No. Your player profile, measurables, and academic info are private to your account only — nothing is publicly readable or searchable. The only way any of it becomes visible to a coach is if you explicitly generate and share an Athlete Resume or a profile link yourself.

What is the team level index, and what does “level-adjusted” mean on my stats?

A .400 average in a national 16U bracket and a .400 average in a city league are not the same number, and a college coach reading your stat line needs to know which one it is. So a coach can record what a team actually did in a season — tournament results, with a link to the result — and those results add up, under a published points rubric, to a level for that season: national, regional, city, or unrated. You always see the points behind the level, never just a badge.

If you attach your stat line to one of those rated team-seasons, we also show a level-adjusted version of it beside your real one: the same numbers translated toward what they would look like against college pitching. Your own numbers never change, and both lines are always shown together.

One honest caveat. The size of that translation is a starting estimate — the direction is well established (a younger or weaker field discounts harder), but we have not yet calibrated the exact factors against enough real travel-to-college outcomes to call them measured. That is why every adjusted line is stamped with the factor version, and why we would rather show you both numbers than quietly replace one with the other. It is a rough translation to help you compare, not a prediction of how you will perform.

Can I get Zionball as an app on my phone?

Yes — it is this site, installed to your Home Screen, with camp alerts on your lock screen. There is nothing to download from an app store.

iPhone or iPad: open zionball.com in Safari, tap Share (the square with the arrow), then Add to Home Screen. Android: open it in Chrome and tap Install when offered (or the menu → Install app). When you are signed in on your phone, the site shows you these steps.

The installed app keeps its own sign-in, separate from Safari or Chrome — so open it and sign in once with your password. Links in our emails (confirmations, password resets) still open in your browser, not in the app.

To get alerts on your lock screen, open your account page inside the installed app and tap Turn on notifications on this phone. Alerts follow the same rule as email: free accounts get a weekly batch, Basic and Elite get them the same day — and they arrive during your daytime, never at night.

Where are your privacy policy and terms of service?

Our Privacy Policylists, table by table, what we store, why, for how long, and what happens to it when you delete your account; it is generated from the site's own configuration. The Terms of Service cover plans, coaches and families, and what the estimates are and are not. You can delete your account at any time from Account settings.
